Hi Emily & Douglass, 

I appreciated hearing more about your plans for June 20th! St Dominics looks beautiful and would be a lovely background for post ceremony photos. I looked up La Mar as well and it's a fantastic venue! I can definitely picture some fun group candid type photos with the water in the background around sunset. If we work together, I'd check out both venues ahead of time with your photos in mind of course to make sure I have all the details and locations dialed in.

Because of your guest count, I've included a second photographer in any option I've presented. With the logistics of a wedding in the city, I would want there to be 2 of us (along with a non-photographing assistant) to make sure we're able to cover everything without being held back by things like traffic, parking, etc- along with capturing all the great moments your guests will be having. It depends on logisitics, but I could see the second photographer getting some fun photos of the guest transportation to the reception while we stay at the church for family photos.

Both options also include time for the rehearsal dinner! That would be such a great time to get fun photos of family and some sweet portraits of you both so I really love that idea.

Timing is always flexible so if you decide to add more time before the wedding or even day-of, myself and my team will be there for you. Throughout the process, I'm also happy to help review and make suggestions on a timeline to make sure we can capture your day without having photography take it over but that we have enough time to keep your experience joyful and not stressed.

If you’re like a lot of my couples, you don’t have a ton of extra time to meet or fill out questionnaires leading up to your wedding. 

As a busy professional, I get it. Which is why my process is intentional and streamlined. You’ll always know what to expect, and I’ll always collect just the information I need - without all the fluff in between. With my system, you’ll have fewer things to think about, schedule, or put on your to-do list.

Rather than interrupt your moments, rush you from here to there, and treat your day like my personal photoshoot, I respect your wedding day for what it is - YOURS. 

I encourage you to slow down, stay present, and intentionally take it all in. And when it comes to photos, don’t focus on me - do your thing. I’ll be there to capture the ecstatic laughs and tender tears. The result? Incredible memories of an amazing day.
